i used to own Olympus MJU850 Tough 8MP Camera after nearly two years of dropping it and taking it in and out of water the case crack and because i wanted my camea to be waterproof i decided to buy this one to replace it, this has a great HD video recording, the options for the menu is easy to use and can quickly be changed from one siuation to the next. my only problem is with battery life, i use my camera mainly for nightouts and i can easily take over 100 pictures in a short space of time, but i am finding with this camera i cant leave it on as long as i would of liked. as the battery seems to go to critcal in not alot of time, i have bought some spare batteries so this will solve that problem.
the only thing i dont like about the design is no lens cover, i did not see this to be a problem untill i used it a few time, the lens cover that it has gets a lot of dust on it and somethimes fingerprints so i find i have to clean it before i take it out to use, it should really have some sort of cover on it really to prevent smuges on your pictures
this is a great camera for the price and i cant wait to use it on holiday in the pool again, the pictures are lovely when i have had them made bigger, it is light enough and tough enough for me and a few vodkas later, i bought extra insurance so if this camera case cracks i can get it fixed without much hassel,
