Having used starry night enthusiast I just had to get a better version and this is it, its excellent quality and very customisable.
It has a very good online system for updates and updating satellite pictures. Have spent hours studying the sky from the computer which is a far better alternative then gazing at clouds in the real world. So much information can be gathered that it can be overwhelming but its understandable. Plenty of options, the ephemeris, an actual graph of planet/moon orbits. Not to sure about the sound effects that come with the landscape, at least that can be turned off. Basically its very user friendly and well worth the investment.
Off course if you wish to go one even better there is always starry night pro plus 6, but dearer.
